Can I just quickly say that I am blogging to all of you kids from space? Okay, not REALLY space. But judging off of the Virgin America travel map, I am 34,382 feet above Kansas, hauling ass to LA. So that's space-ish. Richard Branson is my fave today for allowing me to fly with WiFi.
Anyway. I'm knee deep in a home decor phase right now. As most of you know, David and I live in Brooklyn. I LOVE my apartment - it's just old and very "Brooklyn-chic" with old wood floors, exposed brick walls, and the bathroom rivaling the square footage one might find in a phone booth. As our building used to be an old button factory or something, it has NO closets. But it DOES have a hipster rock band in the basement, so I guess I have that going for me - which is nice. But in all seriousness, trying to find aesthetically pleasing ways to store things has now become a game that I WILL win.
Here are a few pieces that I would love to have in my life...
Vintage Table Trays

I'm not sure which I love more - the Chanel or Hermes tray. The Hermes tray is from Olivia Palermo's apartment while she was filming The City. That little twat has great taste. It's sooo fabulous and the most tragic part of all is that I can't find one ANYWHERE. If any of you know of an Ebay seller or random antique shop that may have one, email me asap!
Striped Walls

I love striped walls. Especially when they are gray and white stripes. I'm having such a gray period right now. Not the sads - just a love of gray. It's such an elegant color and the stripes look very French-boudoir with the frame/mirror cluster.
Cellula Chandelier

Swarovski + Design Within Reach = Sign Me Up. I gape at this chandelier every time I walk by Design Within Reach. They have it in the window and it whispers my name...taunting me to just max out a credit card and buy it. One day I totally will. haha.
