What do Cynthia Rowley, Jenna Lyons, and Steve Jobs have in common? Wedding fever.
Is it just me or is it wedding madness lately? I know that we are knee deep in THE season, but this year seems to be a bit more intense than years past. An upside of this frenzy is that very kickass brands are throwing their hats into the wedding marketplace. This means that whenever I do get around to tying the knot - there will be very fierce things for me to spend all of my money on...
Cynthia Rowley

Many of you know of my love of all things Cynthia Rowley - she is fabulous. You can imagine my excitement when I was invited to the launch of Cynthia Rowley Bridesmaids - it's about time those things were pretty. And coming from a girl who has spent many a springtime Saturday rocking a bridesmaid dress, I am a big fan of something that I can ACTUALLY re-wear (even if it's only to Easter brunch). The best aspect of this line? She clearly doesn't follow the put-the-bridesmaids-in-the-ugly-satin-frock rule in effort to make the bride look better. It's all rich colors, clean lines, and very wearable styles.

Perfectly styled models at the presentation. Dying over the shoes!

J.Crew Bridal
Another fierce girl? Jenna Lyons. She's a genius! Half of my closet right now is J.Crew - it's the best brand on the marketplace right now and that goes for any of the lines - men, women, accessories, suiting, kids, and now....bridal. The bridal price point is super affordable and the bohemian glam of their regular collection translates perfectly. They have been doing a few bridal/bridesmaid pieces for awhile now, but the opening of the J.Crew Bridal Salon on Madison changed everything. First of all, the salon looks like a 1920's Parisian fashion salon (is there ANYTHING more decadent?) and second, the dresses are stunning.

The delish salon interior.

Cases of those great accessories that J.Crew does so well.

Tiffany & Co's iPhone App

The time comes in every serious relationship...when you get the feeling that he or she is going to put a ring on it and you have some very real doubts regarding their taste in jewelry. Luckily - there's an app for that. Tiffany & Co has come to the rescue with The Engagement Ring Finder, their very first iPhone app which makes researching, sizing, and browsing rings a piece of cake. You scroll through, select your five favorite rocks and "accidentally" share them on Facebook and Twitter. Subtle? No. An enviable left hand for ever and ever? Yes.

Why can't I find this engagement ring finder app? I need to so some hinting;)
ReplyDeleteThe iPhone app isn't released until mid-June love.
