If New York was like high school (I mean, isn't it?), then last night would have been prom night. A very, very, exclusive prom that you have to pay thousands of dollars to go to in honor of the coolest kid in class who unfortunately ended his life last year. Yes loves, it was the annual Met Costume Institute Gala celebrating Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty.
Below are the popular kids in school looking tres, tres glam.

Ashley Olsen in Christian Dior Haute Couture.
The Olsen girls give good sleeve. They are so pretty when they don't skulk around looking like hobos.

Iman in Stella McCartney.
I hope that if I am very, very good, give to charity, and am nice to my parents that God will allow me to look like Iman when I'm her age. Honestly, I wouldn't mind looking like Iman in 5 years...

Janelle Monae in Chanel.
I love that she always wears a version of the same outfit, dressed up or dressed down, depending on the occasion. I like creatures of habit.

Gisele Bundchen-Brady in Alexander McQueen.
This dress is beautiful, yes. But on this 8ft, genetic-lottery-winning supermodel, it looks absolutely stunning.

Christina Ricci in Zac Posen.
The peanut gallery at work didn't seem to love this dress, but HELLO SHE WAS WEDNESDAY ADDAMS. You are not going to see her rocking yellow polka dots.

Blake Lively in Chanel.
I am not the biggest fan of Serena van der Woodsen but I do love this dress...and that new red hair.

Brooklyn Decker in Michael Kors.
She is by far my best dressed from last night. GORGE.

Emma Stone in Lanvin.
Love this print.

Elizabeth Banks in Tommy Hilfiger.

Eva Mendes in Stella McCartney.
I am obsessed with pleats right now and obsessed with Eva always, so this dress was a total win. This whole look screams Rachel Zoe and THAT's why she's better than anybody else...
