One of my favorite things about living in NYC was being surrounded by all of the super cool New York fashion girls who manage to take casual looks to another level. After living in the city for five years (and being able to throw together a pretty fierce outfit if I do say so myself), I never really attained the chic, effortless style that seems to just seep out of some people. From Chelsea Market to Columbus Circle to flannels paired with Birkins and furs paired with old Hanes t-shirts - some girls just NAIL the high/low blend and to be honest, why buy a magazine when walking down the street is so much more inspirational?
