I am so lucky to call some very creative and unbelievably talented people my good friends. Spread across the country, these people have been my support system, my extended family and a constant source of inspiration. Drinking & Dreaming's new weekly segment "Daydreaming" will feature some of their favorite things from fashion to travel destinations. I hope you'll enjoy getting to know these awesomely smart and interesting friends a bit better. I was overwhelmed at the unique and random responses that I started getting from these people. They are seriously too cool for school.
First up, I'd like to introduce you to Nina Johnson. Neenja and I have been friends for almost five years and, hilariously, when we first met I did not like her. Five years later, we are madly in love and there haven't been many New Years Eves or birthdays over the past few years that we haven't spent together. Not only is she the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Labl.me but she runs her own eBay boutique, is a Fashion & Travel Consultant for hautepinkbham.com and is the Executive Assistant Extraordinaire at General Atlantic. And I thought I was busy..

"I have always been a reader, and once I start a book, I'll finish it. Seriously, all I will do is read. Unfortunately I'm not currently reading anything, but I will read The Pillars of the Earth over and over again as long as I live. I love epic novels. Life is defined by the journey."
