A Week in Review

As I whined to you yesterday, things have been pretty nuts.  Lots of events over the past ten days (for work and for fun) have meant cross-country flights and frantic work days that end in long nights standing in heels.  But like I always say, it's not like I'm digging ditches to pay my rent and at the end of day, I'm very lucky to be this busy.  Before any further adieu, let's break down the past few days in the best way I know how...photos.

Tuesday

Early am flight from JFK to LAX.  Spent the whole day working out of the LA office and end the day by checking into my new favorite hotel (at least when work's paying) - Mr C Beverly Hills.  I took a 20 minute power nap in the gorgeous room below and then had a big Victoria's Secret family dinner at the restaurant with some of our favorite producers.

Wednesday

Another day working out of the LA office.  Andrea and I went to Burbank for lunch with the Conan team at the Warners Brothers lot and spent at least 45 minutes roaming around checking out all of the awesome movie history.  Went back to the office and finalized all prep for Thursday's events and I ended the day with an amazing (and well-needed) girls night out with Emily at Comme Ca.

Thursday

Victoria's Secret all day.  The What's Sexy Now/Knockout Photo Op in the morning.  E! News segment in the afternoon.  Customer event at the Beverly Center in the late afternoon and finally the What Is Sexy? party at Mr. C's at night.  Oh...and our email server was done for almost the entire day. THAT wasn't stressful or anything.

Friday

Last morning in LA.  Emails are all still down and we're struggling through post-press in the LA office out of our personal email accounts until our late afternoon flight back home.  Highlight of this long, hungover day was stopping by In-N-Out on our way to the airport.

Saturday

Back in NYC.  Spent the most gorgeous day roaming around Central Park with Joe and his dog.  Ended up back in New Jersey drinking wine and listening to music.  Perfect end to the week.

Sunday

Long run. Caught up on past episodes of Smash.  Met some girlfriends for oysters and champagne at the John Dory Oyster Bar.  Went to sleep early.

Tuesday

Rachel Roy Press Preview during the day for her collaboration with Seu Jorge.  At night, we had the launch of C&T Costello Tagliapietra at Barneys.  Oh and it was also pouring rain all day... Awesome.

Wednesday

Crazed day at the office trying to lock-in post press on last night's C&T event while also making sure that all of my other clients are feeling loved and attended to.  Spent the night party hopping with Joe and his friend at a DL1961 party at the STK rooftop, the Kiehl's Mr. Bones event at Gold Bar and a dance party at Hudson Terrace.  I may have had quite a bit of vodka by the end of the night.

Thursday

My exhaustion is officially starting to kick in and the cocktails from the night before are not helping things. Another crazed day at work securing regional press appointments for C&T's national tour and starting to look at Fashion Week/Fashion Show planning for Victoria's Secret. Ended the night at the IAC / DumbDumb / Aereo Internet Week Closing Party with Will Arnett.

Now it's Friday and I am...exhausted.  I'm also (slightly) concerned that the evidence above seems to prove that my life consists of mainly parties and food...  Not a bad way to live though.
