Keep it Classy

This past Saturday I went to my first-ever polo match and Holy Moly am I addicted to yet another equestrian sport.  The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic happens every year at the beginning of June on Liberty State Park (directly behind The Lady) and for some silly reason, I have never gone before.  This will never happen again.  Trust.

Aside from it being a perfect summer day, we were in the VIP section which honestly made all of the difference in the world.  I hope that didn't sound horribly pretentious but having never gone before, we weren't prepared with blankets, umbrellas and picnic set-ups like the seasoned polo-ers.  And I mean, under the VIP tent, the champagne was free, the food was delicious and our view was insane.  AND as we were standing right on the fence at basically the polo equivalent of a 50-yard line, we also caught the game ball!  Well...Joe caught the ball.  I was sadly that cliched girl who makes an attempt and then just bobbles it around like a hackey sack for a few seconds.

Regardless, moral of the story: get yourself to Liberty State Park for the polo classic next year. I couldn't imagine a better way to spend a Saturday.

 Nacho.

The Parasol girls were shockingly tall and just walked around all day looking gorgeous.

Jeff, Ashley, Moi & Joe.  Glam.

Told ya...

 He signed our ball!!

Amazing views of the city from the boat ride back.
