I think that we all have Sarah Jessica Parker to thank for talking Valentino into designing the costumes for the New York City Ballet's Fall Gala. Sixteen original designs were handcrafted with breathtaking couture details and pops of the designer's signature red underneath voluminous tulle and organza tutus. Black and white was the main color palette and of course, each of the ballerinas were outfitted with red pointe shoes...a la Valentino.
